Wedding Favor Ideas for a Destination Wedding

A destination wedding is a time of romance, adventure, and excitement. The destination wedding is also a time filled with a lot of travel, plans, and group coordination and can be quite a stressful time for not only the bride and groom, but for the bridal party as well. While the stress of travel, especially with a group, can take its toll, it should not have to be during a wedding celebration.

The destination wedding can take place in many locations such as the beach, another country or even Las Vegas. Although it can be a stressful time preparing to depart on this trip, it is usually well worth it since it also serves as a vacation at the same time. This provides much time for relaxation after the wedding ceremony.

Destination weddings require special wedding favors. It is important to remember that these wedding favors do not need to be elaborate or expensive, but should be more thoughtful and unique than anything else. These small tokens of appreciation to your wedding guests should convey just how thankful you, the bride and groom, are that they made the extra effort to make it to your wedding.

Favors for the Tropical Wedding

Many destination weddings are set in tropical locations. If your wedding happens to be one set on the beach or on the islands, your wedding favors should reflect this. Consider the location of the wedding and which gifts would be the best choice. A small wedding favor for a tropical wedding might be some sunscreen or sunglasses for each guest. Another good wedding favor for a tropical wedding might be a set of beach towels. If you want to really spoil your guests, you may think about getting a beach tote for each of them and fill it with a beach towel and other fun beach accessories.

Favors for the Ski Resort Wedding

If your destination wedding is taking place at a ski resort, you know that you and your guests are in for a great time. One idea for a wedding favors is give them something that can help them stay warm and enjoy their time in the cold. A tote bag is always a good alternative to a plastic shopping bag, so choose something that your friends and family are likely to use. Then fill the bag with some warm fleece gloves, a matching scarf, and a ski hat. Be sure to include some sunscreen (the sun reflects off the snow and can cause sunburn a lot faster than you think!)

Favors for the Vegas Wedding

If you and your fiancé are tying the knot in Las Vegas, then the wedding favors you hand out should be chosen accordingly. Las Vegas is full of fun, excitement, and adventure, so share it with your wedding guests. Use one of those buckets used at the casinos to hold chips and fill it with Vegas-related products. You might consider providing some chips to your guests for the slots, a deck of cards, and perhaps even a book about betting.

Travel Gear

It is important to keep in mind that all of the guests as well as the bride and groom must travel to attend a destination wedding. The very idea behind a destination wedding is to hold the festivities in a location other than where the bride and groom, or their families currently reside. Traveling may be harder for some people than others and some may have financial limitations while others may just not enjoy the entire process. This is why you may consider providing your wedding guests with bags that are filled with travel products. This can help them feel more comfortable while traveling.

Purchase a gift bag, or tote, and fill it with soft socks, aspirin, vitamins, magazines, healthy snacks, and other travel essentials. Think about each guest (since destination weddings usually have a smaller guest list) and include things that may interest that particular person on the plane trip. Anything that helps the airport seem a little homier will be welcomed.

Day Trips

Destination weddings take place in fun, and sometimes exotic, locations. A destination wedding would not be one without the “destination” being a place worth visiting. So why not consider treating your wedding guests on a trip to see the local sights. It is the perfect way to treat them to a special day and have some extra time with your nearest and dearest. Your wedding guests should definitely appreciate the effort, especially since they have spent the money on travel, lodging, and may have even taken off work to share in your celebration.

Destination weddings are a lot of work, but not every aspect has to be stressful. Choose the wedding favors based on where your wedding is taking place. Just remember that the wedding favors should be simple, unique, and thought out. You do not have to spend a lot of money as long as you put some effort into it. If you prefer to be extravagant, go ahead – your guests will appreciate the gesture.

Destination Weddings ? How They Can Actually Save You Money

In planning our weddings, many of us are trying to find ways to save money. We do not necessarily do it to make it a ‘cheap’ or ‘unmemorable’ wedding, but rather to spend money where it may matter more. That could be a dress, food or drinks, entertainment, etc. Or, this could become an extra budget for the honeymoon. Consider a destination wedding as an alternative. Here is how this option can save you money:

A destination wedding allows you to trim your guest list by only inviting close family and friends. There will not be an obligation to invite all your distant cousins or friends or for guests to feel that they need to attend if your wedding took place somewhere far and not local. Trimming down the guest list will save you on catering and decorating costs. Just envision how much more you can get more for your dollar and have an extraordinary lavish wedding if there were 40 guests versus 300. Destination weddings that are held at exotic locals such as Mexico, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Puerto Rico offer all-inclusive options along with inexpensive lodging. These all-inclusive options will allow hassle free wedding planning and provide you with time to explore local attractions with your family and friends. Locations closer to home, such as Las Vegas and Hawaii, remain favorite spots to tie the knot. Choose to travel to your choice destination off season or during shoulder season. The difference with peak season can be substantial, so make sure to do your research before you pick your wedding date. Consider getting married midweek because Saturdays are always in high demand and thus most expensive. Check with the venues and vendors. One of the biggest areas of cost savings is the decoration. Imagine with a backdrop of the ocean, garden or rain forest there is not much need for decorations in a destination wedding. For the reception a few elegant flowers in a vase, or floating blooms, instead of center pieces will save you on the cost of flowers.

Destination wedding could be a good economic alternative if you plan it right and believe it is suitable for you, your family and friends.

Destination Wedding Favors Choices

These days couples are looking for ever more innovative designs for their wedding favors. The traditional gifts of almonds or chocolates in small boxes or nets are rapidly being replaced with alternatives such as mini photo frames or edible delicacies.

For many couples the option of choosing a destination wedding over a traditional affair at home is all too tempting. For some it provides a cheaper alternative whilst for others it offers the chance to combine the honeymoon as well. There is a growing trend towards destination weddings & wedding favor manufacturers have responded with a growing number of themed wedding favors with destination weddings in mind.

So what choices can you expect to find for destination wedding favors? Here are some ideas:
* Beach themed photo frames, bottle stoppers, small ornaments & candles.
* Chrome plated luggage tags shaped like ships or airplanes.
* Novel boxes for confectionary shaped like palm trees, flip-flops & wheeled suitcases.
* Other more elegant favors include soaps, wooden or paper fans & silver place card holders.

Sea-shells are key feature of beach themed wedding favors, which are the most common type for destination wedding favors as many weddings will take place on the beach. Other designs include nautical themes, palm trees, sandals, parasols & cocktails.

For something a little more novel & unique try putting together a ‘message in a bottle’. Write a poem or personal message to your guests, roll it up like a scroll & tie with some raffia, then place it in a glass bottle with a cork stopper.

Or create some sand art in miniature bottles. Visit your local craft store & get some different colored sand which you can layer up in the bottles. Finish them with a little personalized tag tied around the neck. If your budget will stretch to it you can purchase ready made versions with little pictures in the sand.

Whatever you’re inclination for wedding favors for a destination wedding, you will find plenty of choices in online stores whatever your budget. But do take into consideration how they will travel if you are taking them with you. Be careful of delicate & breakable items as you could find them smashed to pieces by the time you arrive. Edible items should also be approached with caution. Chocolates will melt in a hot climate & you may not be able to fit them all in the mini bar fridge! Iced cookies may also suffer in a humid climate.

With some imagination you can create some wonderful & unique wedding favors which will provide your guests with a lasting memory of your special day.

Plan Your Destination Wedding in Maui!

Wedding is one occasion that requires a lot of time and effort to plan. Most of us take great pains to make this Big Day an occasion that would be remembered for a long time to come. In the run to come up with unique wedding ideas, the concept of destination wedding seems to be drawing people’s attention to a great extent. Maui weddings, in particular are gaining immense popularity.

If you are hunting for the most romantic wedding destination, then your search should end here. The beautiful islands of Hawaii apart from being a primary vacation destination are also some of the most popular wedding destinations in the United States. Among the several exotic wedding locales that the Aloha State offers, Maui is probably the best.

The Hawaiian island of Maui offers numerous spots for a wedding ceremony. The Makena Cove, also known as the Secret Beach with great sunsets is the hottest spot for photographic experiments. The Kapalua beach that has been rated as one of the world’s top beaches, is a great place for couples to get married.

For those seeking a sacred yet magical place for their wedding, Makena, which is considered a sacred place by the Hawaiians, would be the ideal place. There are also many other spots such as the Fleming’s beach, the Sugarman’s Estate, the Mokapu beach, the Puamana beach, and much more, which most Maui wedding planners would recommend.

Arranging a wedding in a foreign land can be pretty intimidating. Hence, before you plan your Maui wedding, a visit to this truly splendid island will give you an idea on the best wedding and honeymoon spots and help you get your wedding planned there. And what better way to get started with your Maui wedding arrangements than booking your trip to Hawaii with Perillo Tours.

Destination Wedding Favors

In recent years there has been a surge in the number of couples booking destination weddings. Broadly speaking a destination wedding takes place away from the couple’s usual place of residence & often overseas. The typical view of a destination wedding is one taking place on a beach in an exotic climate, but more & more couples are choosing different locations such as safari in Africa, Europe & colder climates for a winter wonderland wedding. So when it comes to wedding favors what are your options?

Firstly you will need to think about transporting these little gifts to your chosen destination. They will need to be easily transportable & not likely to spoil on the way or in the change of temperature. You should also consider the possibility of breakages & how much extra weight of space they will take up in your luggage.

Wedding favors which include chocolates could melt or items such as votive or shot glasses could break. So what are your choices for easily transportable, non-persihable, non-breakable, destination themed wedding favors?

Luckily the favor industry has come up with some great choices for destination weddings:
•Luggage tags in plated metal or chrome into which you can insert the guests name & which they can later use as a photoframe. They are available in traditional luggage tag shapes or shaped like airplanes or cruise ships.
•For an easy & cheap idea, give your guests a lottery ticket in a sisal envelope.
•Choose favors which are associated with your destination. For instance, if you’re wedding is in Mexico give bottles of hot sauce, or miniature bottles of the local beverage.
•Paper or wooden fans are a great idea especially if your destination has a hot climate. Get them personalized with the wedding date & location along with your names.
•Favor boxes made from palm leaves filled with candy or a local confectionery are another great idea for wedding favors & can be made up once you reach your destination.
•Find miniature travel guides about the area so your guests can entertain themselves & leave the two of you to enjoy some time in each others company.

Whatever your budget you are sure to find suitable wedding favors which will delight your guests. But remember they are only meant as a token of appreciation so you don’t need to go overboard trying to buy the most unique favors or individual gifts for every guest. You don’t even have to give favors if your budget just won’t stretch that far. It is a sad fact that after the reception & everyone has gone home, a large percentage of your guests will probably have forgotten them anyway!

All About Destination Weddings

A destination wedding idea sounds very romantic. A couple chooses one of many paradise countries and decides to exchange their vows there. Later, they realize that planning a destination wedding is not an easy task.

Practically, destination weddings combine a wedding ceremony and a honeymoon. Guests may join the couple several days before the wedding and spend some time together in a seashore villa, medieval castle or nice hotel. Later, the couple usually stays alone in the romantic gateway and the guests come back home.

It`s possible to rent a small castle or several rooms in the castle for the wedding event, making it a very intimate party for both close friends and family. The most popular of these castles are located in Florence, Tuscany and are surrounded by grape and fruit gardens in the low mountains. The ceremony can be made in many variations. These are some of the options: an event on the open air near the pool or in the garden, a ceremony in the old small church near the castle, or a wedding ceremony in the small chapel or the gorgeous hall, which connected with villa.

Some couples rent romantic places even for just the two of them, where they spend several days together in a nice and idealistic atmosphere. They ask wedding planners to organize a wedding ceremony, which is arranged, similar to Romeo and Juliet, just for two.

Some may prefer a city ceremony, for example in Rome or Paris. A range of historical locations are available in this case – ancient churches, basilicas or famous halls for the memorable event. Dinner parties may be perfectly organized in 5 – star hotels.

The correct timing of a wedding is very important, especially for an outdoor wedding. Weather forecast research is a very significant task, which should be done before the wedding date planning. As example, it is warm in Italy April through July and August is the hottest month, which is not recommended for weddings. But in some years July in Italy was unusually hot and August was more comfortable.

All documents and paperwork, including visas and passports, are necessary for the wedding and should be checked at the start of the process (6-9 months before the wedding). So, preparation of the paperwork for a wedding ceremony in a Roman Catholic Church in Italy may take time – from two to seven months.

Most Roman Catholic Church documents must be created in the home country and then finished in Italy. It is necessary for both the bride and groom to arrive several extra days before the wedding to wrap up the last of the paperwork. If religions of the bride and groom are different, it may take extra time for preparation as a result the additional statements/documentation.

Wedding planners usually help with paperwork and other different services, such as wedding flowers, photographer, videography, limousine and more. The wedding planner can also plan everything down to the last detail. Before they can move forward, it will still be the bride and groom’s responsibility to make all the decisions. Both the wedding planner and the couple, (and sometimes the parents) work together toward the best result – a magnificent wedding.

How to Plan a Tulum Destination Wedding

I still remember my wedding day, that day was the greatest day of my life. When the idea came up to my head to celebrate my wedding in Tulum (the Mexican Caribbean), my happiness was so great that I just couldn’t believe it, to many wonderful ideas appear in my mind. One of the first things I thought was to gather all family members and close friends, so we could spend the best time of our life with the people that we really love, but then again I thought, how am I going to take care of all my guests and planning ??

The wedding idea its self was in Fact a marvellous idea, a wedding in the beach, with all the closest people we love, the Mexican Riviera Maya, but, I just didn’t have any clear idea of how organize such a big destination wedding, also, I didn’t even know the place well, and I had no clue how to organise such a wedding.

Luckily a friend of mine advised me where to seek for information about weddings, she told me about a specific wedding agency that would take care of all my problems. To be honest, I never thought about my guest or what to do after or before the wedding, but the agency took care of everything.
When I contacted the agency they asked me what kind of wedding I would like to have, honestly I didn’t imagine that there would have several options from where to chose, I come from a conservative family so I was imagining myself in my white long bride dress and a wonderful ceremony but everything inside the normal standards and the traditional thing. The agency has several options for different kind of people, including religions or whatever the client ask for. At the beginning was pretty difficult to chose what I wanted but eventually everything was finally easy to choose.
When we arrived to Tulum three days earlier, we were just receiving kind attention and advises for the wedding, at first I just wanted a regular and traditional wedding and eventually I decided for a Mayan wedding.
We performed the “ceremonia de los cuatro vientos ” (4 wind ceremony). The shaman told us that the ritual was in order to call the forces of the positive energies, when or guest surrounds us in a circle, we were left right in the middle of the circle right before the sea, I felt so different like never before and yes, indeed I felt the magical positive energies that they mentioned before.

The day after the wedding they organised a tour around the most hidden and worderful places of the Rivera Maya, those places were marvellous, the beach, the pyramids, the holy cenotes, and the party atmosphere has nothing to compare with.
I do not regret for my choice. Celebrate my wedding day in the Mexican Caribbean, with all the magnificent support work from hard Mexican workers Tulum Weddings Destination which they know by excellence every detail, traditions, the most magical and incredible places of the Rivera Maya, no doubt I made the right choice.

Wedding Invitation Ideas for Destination Weddings

If you are planning a destination wedding so, you might want to consider reflecting this in your wedding invitations. Your invitations can still have the classic (or modern) look you have been envisioning, but with a few special touches, you can evoke the feelings of your destination as well. Here are some ideas you can use with your invitation package:

Idea #1: Choose colors that work for you first and your destination second.

Most destination weddings are on the beach, and natural beach colors are blue, teal, and tan. However, if you want to use red and black as your wedding colors, these should work as well. Start narrowing down your color choices by what really speaks to you and your future spouse. Any color can work with destination wedding invitations. The key is to use your colors wisely. For example, you may want deep purple and gold wedding invitations. How can you make this choice work for a destination wedding? Choose purple as an accent color and print a starfish or sand castle design in gold! Also, think outside of the box to find certain colors in the surroundings. Hunter green wedding invitations should be a great choice for a beach wedding. This is mostly because this shade of green is close to the color of most seaweed. If you want silver invitations, have you considered the metal gleam off passing ships? Almost any color can fit with a beach theme. Of course, the beach is not the only destination wedding location, but the fact remains that you can make just about any color work with your location if you are creative.

Idea #2: Reflect the season, not the place.

People often link destinations to certain times of the year, and chances are that you have considered this when planning your wedding. For example, if you want to get married at the ski resort where you met, you likely want to do so during the winter when there is snow on the ground. Instead of linking your invitation to the destination itself, consider a seasonal approach. How about a winter romance invitation or an invitation featuring blooming flowers? You can also use invitations that use fall leaves, Christmas holly, sunshine, or other designs that reflect the season.

Idea #3: Use ribbons, charms, and other extras.

Instead of an all-out destination wedding invitation, why not consider an invitation that is more traditional. Then, use accessories like bows to add that special little touch to evoke feelings of your destination. For example, if you are having a Las Vegas wedding, you might choose RSVP cards designed to look like poker cards, or if you are having a wedding by the shore, use a wax seal with a shell design. There are literally hundreds of options available when it comes to accessories and extras. For some couples, this is the perfect way to get the wedding invitations they want.

Idea #4: Look for destination DIY kits.

While some brides and grooms do not want to go over the top, others really want to celebrate their destination wedding to the fullest. If that is the case, look for a wedding kit that can make your wedding invitations really special. For example, some companies make wedding invitation kits that let you send a message in a bottle – a scrolled invitation sent in a small plastic bottle with sand and shells. This kind of destination invitation is typically expensive to mail out, but they are whimsical and your guests should love them! They work well if you are only inviting a small number of guests, which is often the case with destination weddings.

Idea #5: Use your envelopes to show your destination.

You have to be careful with your wedding invitation envelopes. The post office has strict rules about what can go through their machines. However, there are ways in which you can decorate your envelopes. For example, you can use designs like dolphins printed on your envelopes or use colored ink or even stickers. Keep in mind that larger or oddly shaped envelopes might need extra postage. As a special touch, use the post office’s tools to create your own stamps. You can use a picture of the two of you or a picture of your destination.

When you are planning a destination wedding, it is nice to consider invitations that match. The sky is really the limit when it comes to this type of wedding invitation, and there are tons of ways to incorporate your location into the design, whether it is through color, design, or accessories. You can order DIY kits or have them put together by the invitation company. Regardless of your budget, there are options in your price range. Even if you want traditional invitations, check out the small destination touches you can add.

Destination Weddings: Best Beach Wedding Ideas

Weddings held on a beach offer their own unique rewards—as well as challenges. Of course, the beach is one of the most romantic places to hold a wedding. The beautiful scenery is the perfect backdrop for a destination wedding or if you are lucky enough to live near a beach.

Message in a Bottle:  Set the stage for your wedding by having a gorgeous sunset hand painted on your wedding invitation. Or go all out and send “message in a bottle” invitations with some shells and a touch of sand.

Beachwear:  For elegant yet casual beach attire, choose a wedding dress with halter or spaghetti straps. This will show off your tan and keep you cool in the hot sun. Leave your shoes and a veil behind as well.

As for your bridesmaids, choose shorter dresses in chiffon and in lighter colors. Dress the men in seersucker or all white.

Beach Fare:  Decorate your cake with beach trimmings like shells, silver dollars or a beach themed cake top.  Or recreate an elaborate sandcastle as your wedding cake. Use beach accented accessories such as a cake knife and champagne glasses to carry out the theme.

Beach Favors:  Give your guests something besides just sand in their shoes to take home with them. Sea shell place cards, beach themed coasters, Adirondack chair frames, sailboat votives and miniature sandcastles all make a meaningful gift for your guest.

Into the Sunset:  Invest in a quality photographer who has experience in shooting beach weddings. With such a fabulous location, you will want photos which capture the romance of the day. Make sure to block time for photographs of the bride and groom when the natural light is optimal.

Vacation Destination:  If your wedding is held at a resort or vacation spot, ask about booking a block of rooms for your guests. Most beach hotels and resorts have packages specifically set up for beach weddings.

The beach has a magical pull, making it an ideal location for an intimate wedding. The beautiful setting and ready-made theme will provide romantic memories which will last a lifetime.

Popular Options for Destination Wedding Invitations

A very popular trend in the wedding industry is the destination wedding. A destination wedding is essentially a small celebration that is attended by the bride and groom’s closest friends and family. The celebration and reception are held at this destination whether it is the beach or another country. Destination weddings are more like group vacations, and many times, they may cost less than a traditional wedding because of discount vacation packages that are available at many travel agencies.

Although it may be difficult for all of your guests to make it to your wedding, you should still send them all an invitation. Remember, while there are discount vacation packages available, many people may not be able to afford the trip or get the time off from work.

First, when you are planning a destination wedding, it is imperative that you spread the word with ample time since your guests may not be arriving locally. When travel arrangements are required, it is best to provide as much notice as possible. Typically, wedding invitations are sent out 4 to 6 weeks before the event and with a destination wedding, you may want to send out a “Save the Date” card as far in advance as possible. Anywhere from a year to two months would be advisable.

When considering the wording for your destination wedding invitation, it is important to include the full range of dates for the event. Simply say what you would on any other invitation, but remember to include the full address of the location. However, popular wording for destination wedding invitations can primarily be dictated by the location. Many couples use small, whimsical poems to introduce their guests to the prospect of the destination wedding.

A destination wedding invitation should also include concise information on accommodations.

This is common in traditional wedding invitations as well, but it is more important for a destination wedding because guests may have to travel and obtain lodging. So, if you have made special dinner reservations, blocked out a number of hotel rooms at the resort (usually for a discounted price for guests), or have made any other arrangements for other special amenities, it is wise to include it in the invitation. The general rule is to include a separate piece of card stock or stationary per each piece of information. Always include this information in the same envelope as the original invitation.

Because wedding guests want to dress appropriately, even for a destination wedding, it is important to include the dress code within the invitation as well. For example, if the bride is going to wear a beach wedding dress without shoes, it is a good idea to let the guests know, or to mention that something like flip-flops may be appropriate for the sandy and wet location. If the wedding is taking place at a mountaintop resort as a formal event, it is also a good idea to let the guests know what they should be wearing. This not only helps everyone feel comfortable at the event, but it also gives everyone an idea of what they need to pack.

When it comes to the wedding RSVP for a destination wedding, you must allow extra time for your guests to respond. This is why is it important to remember to send “Save the Date” cards and other important information out as early as possible. Remember, while a lot of planning goes into the destination wedding event itself, the guests have their own significant amount of planning to consider as well.

These important elements must all be included in the destination wedding invitation. But remember, because this is a destination wedding, a lot of fun can be had designing the invitations! Think about the location of the wedding and try to implement that into the overall look, theme, and feel of the invitation. A prime example of a popular beach destination wedding invitation choice is to include colors such as blue, yellow, and green along with a tropical design. Perhaps the invitations could be embellished with seashells or have a palm tree design. A wedding taking place on a cruise ship may have a sailing theme to it, adorned with anchors and nautical symbols.

Getting married in a location that is not local is always a lot more work than planning a wedding at home. However, a destination wedding can be just as magical, when the proper planning goes into it. The destination wedding invitation is the first glimpse of what your guests may be expecting at your wedding. Be sure to design them with the fun of the destination in mind, but also with all relevant information so that your friends and family are able to join you. Destination weddings allow you to be creative when planning the event and you do not have to worry about sending out any formal invitations. This provides many options available and it allows you to decide what works best for your destination wedding.

Hot Styles of Destination Wedding Invitations

If you are planning a destination wedding, there are many great invitation styles available. Destination wedding, whether they are in a tropical location, a foreign country, or even Las Vegas can be really special, and although fewer friends and family members may be able to attend due to the travelling involved, you should still send invitations to everyone you want to attend. A destination wedding invitation can perfectly compliment your ceremony, reception, and honeymoon.

Many weddings are held in tropical location or at the beach. Beach weddings are fun and natural, so look for a destination wedding invitation that matches. For example, an Enchanting Sands wedding invitation or a Shells of Love wedding invitation informs your guests right away that you are getting married on the beach. Perhaps you love the sun and water but not the sand. If you are getting married on a boat, choose an invitation, like the Ocean Liner wedding invitation that matches your big day.

A beach wedding provides an excellent theme for your wedding invitations and this location is a fun place to host a wedding. That said, it is not very specific, since there are hundreds of beaches around the world. You can find wedding invitations instead that showcase the country or city you are visiting for your wedding. For example, a Bamboo Breeze wedding invitation is reminiscent of Asia. By alluding to your location with the design, you are also setting the stage of your destination-wedding announcement.

You can also choose to theme your destination wedding invitations around the weather you should be experiencing at your wedding. Not all wedding destinations are warm and sunny! You might love the idea of a Winter Wonderland wedding invitation for a wedding that is taking place in a beautiful icy location like Aspen. On the other hand, if your wedding is in a warm location, you can choose an invitation with a sunny design. It is up to you and your preferences!

Of course, you can get even more specific if you want and show off the exact city of your wedding with the design of your wedding invitation. Las Vegas is the most well known destination wedding location and if you are getting married in this city, you can choose a fun Vegas-themed destination wedding invitation design.

It is also popular to not be too overt with your destination wedding invitation design. Although some people like to be clear that they are getting married in the mountains or by the shore, you can also choose to pick a more traditional style of wedding invitation. Staying true to the mood of your wedding is important, but your wedding invitation does not have to be covered with seashells to give off a vibe that is casual, flowing, and fresh. You can search for a traditional-style wedding invitation instead.

Sometimes, colors work best. Are you getting married outside in a beautiful garden? Choosing bright greens and whites can make for a nice design. Are you having a wedding in the fall forests in a mountain setting? The burnt orange, brown, and gold colors of fall are perfect for your destination invitation.

Keep in mind that you may want to send two invitations in case you decide to have a small ceremony for those who could not travel at the time of the wedding. This can allow you to celebrate with friends and family members who could not afford the trip, had scheduling conflicts, or were not healthy enough to travel. So, when ordering your destination wedding invitations, keep in mind that you may be sending two invitations in the same envelope. You can also choose to send the invitations separately, but they should relate to one another to avoid too much confusion.

Not every couple is lucky enough to have a destination wedding. While most would agree that a beautiful paradise destination would be a nice backdrop for one of the most important days of their lives, at the same time, it is also important that all of their loved ones be present at the ceremony, which is not always possible with a destination wedding. If you do choose to have your ceremony away from home, however, consider the hot new trend of destination wedding invitations. They can help to announce you wedding plans to your guests in a fun, beautiful way.

A destination wedding can take place anywhere and your wedding invitations should reflect this location. Colors are an important aspect of the destination wedding invitation. You should choose colors that reflect the area such as light blue for a beach wedding. Another option is to include a picture of the location, as this can help prepare your guests for what they should expect upon arriving at the destination. Whichever invitations you eventually decide on for your wedding, be sure to allow your guests enough time to plan the trip.
