5 Easy Ways to Save Money When Planning Your Outdoor Wedding
With the summer wedding season fast approaching and many couples looking for ways to cut back on the cost of their nuptials, outdoor weddings are enjoying resurgence in popularity. Not only does an outdoor event drastically reduce the amount spent on church and reception hall rental, but it also opens up a multitude of other cost cutting opportunities. With that in mind, we’ve compiled a list of five easy ways to save money when planning your outdoor wedding.
1. Choose a month other than June. June is by far the most popular month for weddings, and with good reason; the weather is usually beautiful. But June isn’t the only calendar month with nice weather, and by choosing an earlier spring date or a fall date, you can save a lot of money with various vendors. Many photographers, caterers, and rental suppliers will charge a premium for weddings during the busy month of June, simply because demand is so high. If the date will work for you and your fiancé, consider an April or October wedding instead.
2. Consider a morning wedding. Most weddings are held in the afternoon or evening, but there’s no reason you can’t have a wedding in the morning. Morning weddings are often a great way to cut back on expenses, for several reasons. First, you can serve breakfast instead of dinner. This eliminates the need to worry about expensive appetizers and alcoholic beverages. Generally speaking, breakfast foods are less expensive anyway. Furthermore, you may be able to negotiate some discounts with your service providers, since morning weddings aren’t that common, and you may also have an easier time booking the providers you want.
3. Choose a low cost outdoor venue like a friend or family member’s backyard. While it’s true that outdoor weddings are generally less expensive than indoor events, some outdoor venues can be pricey to rent. For example, if you were hoping for a very popular state park with a scenic overlook, don’t expect it to come cheap. By holding your event in a smaller or less formal outdoor space, not only can you save a lot of money on the location, but it can also afford you more flexibility with decorating.
4. Plant some flowers! Assuming you have chosen to hold the wedding in a space where you have some flexibility and control, consider planting some flowers a few months before the event to cut back on the florist’s expense. Planting flowers is also a great way to ensure that you’ll have exactly the variety of colors and textures you want when your big day arrives.
5. Buy decorations that can be used in your new home after the wedding is over. Outdoor weddings are often decorated with items that can be reused later in the couple’s new yard. For example, consider a large wedding arbor or pergola as the backdrop for your photos or the focal point where you’ll recite your vows. Garden trellises can also make a nice backdrop, as can large urns of flowers or planter boxes. If you have the ability to set these items in place a month or two in advance, go ahead and do so and plant some climbing flowers and vines like morning glory or nasturtium that will grow up the structures before your event. When the wedding is over, the items can be used to landscape your new home’s yard, and over the years, they will hold a very special sentimental value to you and your spouse.
These are just a few of many ways you can save money on outdoor wedding planning. With a little creativity and thinking outside the box, you can plan a beautiful and memorable wedding without breaking the bank.

Things A Groom Can Do to Help With Wedding Planning
<!– @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } –>
We all know that brides take most responsibilities when you talk about wedding planning and you will probably see her disappointed and stressed throughout the day. The worst case is she may have a hard time to provide quality time for each other. What can we do to make them happy? What are the steps to take when they are out of rhythm or out of control? And what can we do to help them get through the stressful road of wedding planning? These are some questions a typical groom have in mind and they are desperately looking for an answer.
There is a lot of things you can have if you are gifted with good listening skills. You will probably be in one of the best call center companies in world which only requires great listening skills. It is really hard to develop this ability especially if you do not know when to talk and when to just listen. However, since I have been in call center industry for years, I can give you three rules to follow to be a great listener. First, understanding the situation: You must understand the entire situation before you can give advice and a resolution. Think first before giving out your own ideas and opinion. Making her feel comfortable is the main ingredient to be a good listener. Second, learn to Empathize: put your self in your brides’ shoes and let her feel she is completely understood. Do not make unnecessary judgment that will make her angry or down. Finally do not mistreat your bride: no matter how big the problem is, try to understand the situation and get through with the problem together. Considering different options to get through the puzzle is always the best solution. When you are working in a call center, mistreating a customer will result to termination or dismissal. So what will be the consequences of mistreating a bride? The answer could be fatal. Making your bride comfortable talking to you and letting them know that you are on their side is the best breathing room for your future wife.
Do not be afraid to share your thoughts and opinion. After listening to the current situation you must come up with an answer. If you think they are wrong, do not tell them they are not on the right track and need to change things. All you need to do is to offer alternative and suggest it in an acceptable manner. Making decisions together and considering each side is a good way to solve the confusions.Be aware that not all bride will get use to the environment of wedding planning. Sometimes they do not have time to go over certain things that might caught your attention. You should remember that wedding planning requires focus, patience and attention to details. Supporting your future wife on every decision she make is like helping her to reach the top of the mountain. She needs your patience to guide her through different route that she need to face. Wedding planning is such a huge task. Thus, facing each challenges requires a mutual decision and love for each other. This is just the beginning of a long journey that you will face for the rest of your lives. Getting through it will always depend on how you handle the situation.

How to Balance His and Her Wants – Wedding Planning
<!– @page { size: 8.5in 11in; margin: 0.79in } P { margin-bottom: 0.08in } –>
Wedding was created to merge a couple who has unconditional love for each other. It is the time for a lifetime commitment under the law of the creator of heaven and earth. We frequently have few arguments on how we celebrate our own wedding. As a soon to be husband and wife you need to practice making decisions together and checking up on both sides will be the goal of this method. More often, even if you already decided what to do on certain things we will still be on a situation where we need to consider other feelings too. Thus, making decision when you need to acknowledge important people first will never be easy. There will always be times like this if you are on wedding planning stage where you need to think over their suggestions and opinions.
When we talk about wedding planning, it is very important to balance his and her wants. Let’s face it, you will never have a perfect wedding if you are just considering the other side of the story. Equal participation and number of guests on wedding day must be made. I have been to a wedding where almost all guests were on the brides’ side and they ended up being divorced! I am not saying that if the wedding was dominated by one side, the relationship will not work. However, practicing equality as soon as possible is a good way to start a married life. So how can we balance each others wants? How to say I will have this and you will have that? These are some the questions that is so difficult to find an answer! Even I who is always there on wedding planning stage have a hard time figuring out what to do on this kind of situation. My suggestion is to list the things you desire on wedding day and separate them into “very important” to “least important” and both of you should have different lists. After you list what you desire on your wedding, try to suit it to your specified budget. What if your lists do not agree with your budget? Simply go to your least important list and cut the last thing you want in your wedding one after the other (toss coin if who will have the first cut). You will not put something in your least important list if it is necessary, so thinking about the cut will make you stressed. This is a fun activity that will let you enjoy wedding planning more. So what if you already cut the list important list and your budget still do not agree with your wedding? Now, we have a big problem. What you need to do now is to go to your very important list and pick the necessary things first! This is the time where you combine your lists and decide together on how you can make a perfect wedding. Pick the very important things one by one until it suits your budget. So what if you still have a hard time fitting your wants to your budget? Ask the help of a wedding planning coordinator! It is the only way to solve some issues with your budget. Although you might spend few dollars by hiring an expert, you will see the difference along the way. You may ended up having your very important and least important list at the same time on your wedding and you do not have to worry on anything else because they can take care of that for you. Having your useful lists will make the job of a professional easier and maybe useful to them on their next client. Who knows, may be they will give you discounts for the useful information!
Your wedding day will always be the last day of being single. However, this will also be the start of a new beginning and a continuation of unconditional love.

Planning Your Wedding
Wedding Planning can be a difficult task. Even though most people know the basics of planning a wedding it can be very overwhelming, especially in the beginning. How do you deal with everything and get the planning done? Simple. Take a deep breath, relax and start at the beginning.
Announce The Engagement.
Announcing your engagement is pretty basic, once you get engaged it is time to tell everyone you know! This can be a pretty fun part of your engagement, announcing your future commitment and showing off your ring to all your friends and family. There are many ways you can announce your engagement. You can send out engagement announcements, have an engagement party or even use more modern forms of communication like telling the world of your upcoming nuptials on social networking sites.
Set The Date.
Being engaged is great, but there are differences between saying you are getting married, you are getting married next spring or you are getting married on May 18, 2011. Having a date makes it feel less abstract and more real. Setting the date of your wedding is one of the most important decisions to make in the beginning of the engagement. So how do you choose your date? There are many ways. Sometimes people already know when they want to get married, they have the date picked out based on a holiday wedding, a tradition, or a date that means something special to the couple.
However, if you do not know that date you are getting married and there are no special dates or holidays that you want to get married on it is time to decide when you do want to get married. Narrow down your choices. Decide on the time of the year, the season or the month and go from there. Once you narrowed it down to a year and season or month look at that timeframe and eliminate any dates you want to avoid. These would include holidays you don’t want to be married on, birthdays and anniversaries of potential guests as well as any days that bring negative feelings to you, your fiancé or your families.
Determine Your Budget.
Once you announced your engagement and set the date you need to determine how much money you have for the rest of the wedding. This may be one of the least pleasant things you need to do while planning your wedding but it is pertinent to understand how much money you have to spend so you can plan the perfect wedding with the least amount of snags as possible.
Choose Your Ceremony Site and Your Reception Site
The ceremony site is important. This is where you walk down the aisle and get married to your fiancé in front of all your family and friends. There are many choices of places to say I do. You can get married in a church, an outdoor garden or another outside location, a restaurant, a hotel or a private home. What you choose will affect the feel of your wedding. Each possible ceremony site would affect your wedding. When choosing where you will have your ceremony think about what kind of wedding you want if you want something classic, romantic, modern or something else entirely. Think about how you want the place to be decorated and if what you have in mind could be easily accomplished in each possible place.
Your reception is pretty much the same. You want the reception location to add to the feeling and theme of your wedding. Some ceremony locations can double as reception locations such as hotels and restaurants, where as others such as churches and other places of worship are usually only for the ceremony.
Planning your wedding may seem daunting at first, but once you become organized and start thinking about what you have to do it really isn’t that hard. Just remember the basics. Keep the planning simple, focus on what needs to be done but try not to overstress and get organized. Make lists, check them off. Read and research online and off about weddings, wedding planning and talk to whoever you can about their own weddings and experiences.

Tips to Planning a Wedding on a Budget
When you search about “wedding on a budget” in search engine like Google you will find over 30 million results with different pages and websites. Some of them offer variety of choices and ideas you might consider. Some of them would like you to pay to learn more or sometimes they even try to sell you a book. It is a good thing that you research to make your wedding memorable with a reasonable budget and research will always be number one on my list.
Research. Yes, we started this article with google, pages and websites. We often underestimate the power of the web. When I ask a graduating elementary student on what she know or the purpose of the world wide web she politely answered social networking sites like facebook, twitter, etc. It is definitely not about social networking sites. When you have the internet, you will find anything at your convenient time. Wedding planning is not an exception. Best thing about using the web as a research tool on your wedding planning is simply because it is free. Please don’t give out your credit card number and pin then you will be just fine.
Stick to your budget. No matter what happen, just stick to your budget. I know it is hard to do because you have your “must-haves” but it is the only way to save you from unnecessary expenses. You cannot have all you desire when you are on a budgeted wedding but you will surely have your alternatives. I always love to share this quote: “I am sorry you cannot have that because of these however you can have this.”
Wedding Planning Specialist. I know they are specialist, that means they are professional. Sometimes having them by your side on your wedding planning activity makes it more stress-free. They are not as expensive as they sound. There are also benefits if you consider them as a big part of your big day. Since they are professional, most of them have their connections. They have contact with other vendors and for that you can save few dollars and eventually avail of those alliance-discount that you alone can never have. Lastly, they let you focus more on other things like gown, cakes and welcoming your guests not letting you worry on what will happen next.
Wedding planning is not easy. You need to patience, sincerity, focus and the love to avoid overspending. And there will be options available for you. You may not see it clearly but they are all around you. Wedding is not about how big it is, it is about celebration of love.

A Whirlwind Wedding – Planning Your Wedding in Three Months or Less
For many the idea of planning a wedding within three months is just inconceivable. For them the only option would be to elope, but a short engagement doesn’t mean that you can’t have the wedding of your dreams. With some careful planning & determination you can pull off a fantastic wedding in just 12 weeks. Here’s how.
The Wedding Location
Your options for location maybe limited as many places are booked well in advance, but there should still be a good choice of locations available & you may be able to negotiate a discount for booking at a late date. Save extra time by choosing to have your ceremony & reception at the same location. Look for inns, hotels or non-traditional venues such as film locations. If you are having trouble finding a location then look to hiring a wedding planner, they can often find the places that aren’t booked up & will be invaluable in helping you to organize so much in such a short space of time. Being flexible on date & time will expand your options & possibly help your budget.
Your Wedding Dress & the Bridesmaids’ Dresses
It is usual to order your wedding dress around 6-8 months before the wedding day, with your bridesmaids dresses soon after. However, many bridal shops can offer a fastrack service if you need your dress sooner & some manufacturers can make dresses in 8-12 weeks. For other alternatives look out for sample sales, where you can pick up a dress in store straightaway & usually at less than the tag price. If you pick up a sample dress be prepared to have it cleaned & you may also need to find a seamstress to make an alterations for you. Also look for the large bridal emporiums that stock a wide range of sizes ready for you to purchase immediately. For your bridesmaids consider buying occasion dresses from department stores or high street stores. Another option is to ask them to wear dresses they already have.
Invitations
Ideally you will post your invitations 6 weeks before the wedding day. If you want posh printed invitations you should look for a local printer who can provide a quick turnaround. Otherwise print them yourself. Check out websites which offer DIY printing services or find a software program such as Printing Press to help make quick work of it. To save more time set up a wedding webpage for your guests to visit & where they can leave an RSVP & keep up to date with all you arrangements. You can also ask them to RSVP by phone or email.
The Food & Cake
When choosing your location a hotel or restaurant would be a good choice as they are already set up to provide catering. Look for alternatives to French or Italian restaurants & have some fun at a Mexican restaurant or Tapas Bar. It is also worthwhile ringing around local catering firms & asking if they can fit you in. Some of the larger companies may be able to accommodate you. If your restaurant or caterer can’t provide a cake, check out local bakeries & see what they can provide. As an alternative to a tiered cake, choose a single cake & provide the kitchen with some plain cutting cakes for your guests.

Wedding Planning Ideas
If you aren’t able to hire someone to do your wedding planning for you, it can seem overwhelming to try and figure out everything on your own. However, if you are able to limit yourself to the number of things that you have to do, you will have a much better experience. Try delegating responsibilities to various people in your wedding party, and even family and friends who are just willing to help out. Make sure that everyone knows what you need or want, and then let them help you get everything in order. This will give you more time to relax and enjoy your wedding plans instead of stressing about every last detail.
Planning the perfect wedding seems nearly impossible to many people, but it can be done. You simply need to take the time to check out all of the different elements of your wedding and make sure that they are in order. When it comes to supplies like favors, decorations, and wedding party gifts, you should shop online to find the best prices and variety for all of the things that you need. There is no limit to what you can find online, and you can save a lot of time and effort versus shopping in traditional stores.
There are a lot of different ways to go about wedding planning, but as long as you take the time to find a strategy that works for you, you should be fine. When you need to make sure that you can maximize your time and minimize your efforts, the internet will quickly become your best friend. You can find everything from reception favors to wedding dresses online, allowing you to get the best of the best in all areas of your wedding, no matter where you live. Since you are no longer limited by your location, your wedding can become even more perfect than you might have imagined.
With the right strategy and assistance, your wedding will be easier to plan than you might realize. Don’t limit yourself in any way, because you are really able to choose from anything that you want. Of course, if you have a budget that you are sticking to, that is one area where you won’t be able to compromise as much. In the end, as long as you utilize the resources available to you, wedding planning can be more painless than you thought.

Where to Start your Wedding Planning
When you are first engaged, you may feel both excited and overwhelmed by the task ahead. Wedding planning is a huge job; it is with good reason that most couples take about a year to plan and prepare! Not only are there financial considerations, but also all the details of wedding planning from booking a venue to choosing the flowers can take a great deal of time. Right after the proposal, it is time to start planning! If you aren’t sure where to start when you are first engaged, here are some tips.
Recruit help.
A great place to start is by letting family and friends know you are engaged. Of course, you will be too excited to keep it to yourself, but this is more than just an announcement. You need to start lining up some help with the wedding planning duties. The first people to get on board when you are first engaged will likely be you parents. If they are planning to provide financial aid for the wedding budget, this is an important factor in the rest of your plans. You will also need to select a Maid of Honour and Best Man relatively quickly, as they will have major roles in wedding planning.
Set the date.
Before you can even consider your venue, you will need to have a date set. Although it can be difficult to decide on something so far off when you are first engaged, there is no way to know if the venues that interest you are available without a date. Once you know when your wedding will take place, you can proceed with all kinds of other wedding planning details such as booking a church or other ceremony location, booking a reception hall, and booking your wedding entertainment.
Start the guest list.
While this might change as you proceed through the wedding planning process, you will need a general idea of how many people you plan to invite. This is an important number to know when making all kinds of decisions from the size of the venue to the type of wedding you can afford to hold. Although you will likely add a few people or even remove from the time you are first engaged, you need a basic number to work with.
Book the venues.
Now that the date is set, you should go ahead with the most important part of wedding planning and reserve the locations for both the ceremony and the reception. The most popular places will fill up fast, so to get your choice, you will need to book when you are first engaged. Otherwise, you risk having to go to your second or third choice. When you choose your locations, bear in mind the number of people you expect to have at your wedding and make sure your venue is neither too small nor too large.
When you are first engaged, it may seem you have all the time in the world for wedding planning, but once that date is set, it will come quickly! Get started right away with these basic details, and the rest will go smoothly.

Wedding Planning On A Budget – Information on Wedding Presents
When you start thinking about presents for wedding, many people tend to get over confused that they lose their heads. They no longer know what do buy and therefore, their heads are full of mixed ideas. The thing is that when trying to buy something for the wedding, you need to think about the money.
It is a convenient idea to buy gifts for the newly wed couple, something that they might find practical and that they might use in the near future. For instance, something would show your affection for the couple and your sentiments for them.
Therefore, when you are thinking about what presents to purchase for the couple, you might want to think about something that they will lose for a long time. Meanwhile, you might also want to buy something to show a sparkle of affection and of feeling for them. Therefore, we might always tend to look for things that the two partners might find relate into. You need to buy something that will be of practical use to both bride and the groom and thus, you might want to think about something practical but offered with a lot of affection.
Below, you will find some suggestions regarding gifts that are both practical but that are also of great value to the couple for the time in the future.
Jewelery, rings or necklaces
Precious items such as jewelery and all the items associated with it are considered to be priceless and valuable gifts. Any woman to whom jewelery is offered would appreciate enormously your act of kindness and therefore, the bride would feel extremely excited and pleased about such a gift being offered to her. Try looking for something that looks cute but is also highly sophisticated. Something like a shiny item of jewelery that comes with that extra touch of elegance will definitely be appreciated by the bride. Diamonds are a timeless gift so, if you can afford to buy such expensive gifts, then you could also consider diamonds.
Purses
This gift is extremely well appreciated by women across the world. The ladies might want something that keep in touch with fashion but that is also elegant. If you are just looking for one tiny thing, perhaps an evening purse might do the trick for you.
Gifts for the bridegroom
For the bridegroom, it is important that you look for something special and elegant; men do not usually put that much value on presents and they certainly do not make a lot of fuss about it. Therefore, if you can choose something to make the groom happy, then you have scored a hit. Something like a cravat, a suit, or wristwatches made from either gold or silver or even something like belts or clothes accessories. You are allowed to make this bold statement only if couple is close friends with you and you have known each other for quite a long time. You wouldn’t want them to become embarrassed all of a sudden.
Art as gifts
Other types of gifts for people might include drawing, art make by yourself or someone you know or even small things to decorate their home with. While some people might think of art as having no practicality, many couple appreciate being given art because it is something elegant and special and it will help make their house feel more personal to them.
Special gifts to be offered
Besides the ideas mentioned above, there are also a lot of other things that you might offer to a couple. For instance, buying them things such as small frames for their wedding photos would seem to be like a simple but elegant attention. Also, you might be aware of the fact that they are special shops with gifts to be offered during weddings and you might also want to take a lot in those shops to see if you will have the perfect gift for the couple.

Wedding planning without the stress
One of the first options to consider when planning your wedding is the amount of guests you’ll be inviting. Discuss with your partner who they wish to invite, and remember that compromise is the key to successful and stress free wedding guest lists. Someone who is very important to your partner may not necessarily mean the world to you, so compile your guest list and from this you can work out what kind of wedding you’ll have.
Start your wedding planning early, you’ll be very surprised how quickly the time passes when you’re engaged and considering your options for your wedding. Unless you’re planning to get married very quickly then take your time and make a list of all the various services you’ll be needing and sit down to discuss how you’ll make these bookings, perhaps check with friends if they recommend anyone.
Once you’ve compiled your list of all the wedding services you’ll be wanting, then you have to consider the costs involved. Draw up a comprehensive wedding budget and stick to it, don’t be fooled into thinking that a little extra cost here and there won’t mean much, it all adds up and if you can’t keep control of the finances, then the wedding stress starts to begin.
Contacting wedding suppliers is simple enough, there are so many resources to be found on the Internet, but remember to search locally too. Wedding directories online are full of ideas and options for your wedding. There are also wedding fayres where you can attend and meet suppliers, this gives you an easy option to discuss your wedding requirements with the professionals, and walk away if you feel they are not quite right for you. Some wedding fayres charge an entrance fee, but they are guaranteed to give you plenty of ideas when it comes to planning your wedding. Remember, there are lots of things you can do yourself, but don’t take on too much, if you don’t have the time to do the things you set aside, then more wedding stress is imminent!
Another good tip is to ask members of your wedding party to take on certain roles. Your bridesmaids or best man would be quite happy to do certain errands before the wedding. Think about their skills – for example, the best man may be happy to organise the drinks for the wedding. The bridesmaids may be happy to help choose flowers, or organise the table arrangements. Give the right jobs to the right people and eliminate wedding stress.
Our final tip on wedding planning is a simple yet very effective one, don’t worry about what anyone else thinks. Their is little point in your and your partner trying to plan a wedding because you think someone else has done it this way. Make your wedding day unique to you, and do not feel pressured by any family members who have different ideas of how your wedding should be. If you want a big wedding and can afford it, then plan it that way, if you want something small and simple then ask your family to understand this. Never get stressed or pressured when planning your wedding day, it’s fun, exciting and will only happen once.

Planning A Wedding
A wedding day is a very important event in the lives of the bride and groom and of course for their parents. It comes once in a lifetime, and this day is cherished forever after. Therefore, planning a wedding is a very enormous task, and should be done very carefully if the special day is to be perfect. Patience, creativity, and a decisive mind will make planning the wedding a very easy task.
The first and foremost thing to do while planning a wedding is to set up a budget, taking into account everything that will be required. Also, the wedding size should be estimated, if you want a large wedding or a small simple ceremony. After setting the date and time, a guest list has to be formatted. A wedding planner may also be brought in to ensure the smooth functioning of the entire event. Then the caterers, musicians, florists, artists, designers, etc must be chosen, and given their specific instructions as to how the wedding should be arranged.
Wedding rings must be chosen well in advance, invitations must be sent out, and the caterers must be briefed about the menu. A major part of planning a wedding involves travelling to different places, like the dressmakers for fittings on your wedding dress and suit, the beautician, to the venue itself to check if the decorations and arrangements are coming along well. And the final stage in planning a wedding is payment; you need to pay all those agencies and people that you hire for taking care of different parts of the wedding.
Planning a wedding can be a very exciting task, but is also most of the time very tedious. Being planned well in advance is very important as it saves time lost in panicking. A last advice while planning a wedding is to always have a check-list, and ensure you follow it to the dot.

Planning a Country Western Wedding
Want to break away from the usual wedding? Want a little more country spice added to your life? Cowboy hats and cowboy boots, what better way to celebrate then breaking out some good old fashion country music, and your two step shoes! Forget that traditional wedding with a white dress, and a tuxedo, we are having ourselves a rodeo!
Everyone comes to the wedding dressed down in their favorite pair of jeans, and cowboy hat. Even our bride is dressing in a cowgirl ensemble. Our bride walks down the aisle to some Hank Williams Jr. And for the first dance as a married couple, we watch the couple do a western two step, and the rest of the party joins in. Everyone is laughing and having themselves a good old time. Set it up so that guests can ride horses, children can ride ponies in addition to having a fake bronco bull they can test their luck on. Professionals can be hired to put on a real show for our guests by testing their luck in roping some cattle, or by putting on a horse riding show. Perhaps an auction can even be run to auction off some fun nick knacks. There is no end to where this rodeo can go!
Picnic tables and a barbeque are perfect for our after the wedding celebration. Use stacked hale bales to hold snacks, food and drinks in a buffet line. Rhinestone horse shoe key chains are perfect for our wedding day favors. Forget expensive tableware, grab a beer mug and a plastic plate and dig in! On each table can be small little inexpensive favors that guests can keep. Candles in the shape of apples can be placed on the table. Use cowboy hats on the table as well for centerpieces used to hold flowers, or snacks such as your favorite brand of potato chip. An area can be cleared out where people can dance the night away doing their two step, or line dance. Maybe a DJ or just a good working radio can be set up. Sunflower watering cans can be set up as well for fun and can be filled with candy, mints or nuts for guests. Setting up a small stand that serves candy apples, popcorn, and cotton candy would be a fun idea for guests too making your wedding reception fun for adults and kids too!
You can even go so far as to set up a beer stand with a TV playing whatever sports your guests enjoy most, or maybe some music videos of your favorite country singers. You can take this rodeo wedding which ever way you’d like. Take your guests out of life for a day, and throw them into some country. No one ever said that a wedding had to be a traditional one, so take advantage of that. If country is what you like, then do it! Have fun, go nuts, break out your cowboy hat, and cowboy boots, and get a little bit country!

Wedding Planning in the 21st Century
Tying the knot is one of those unique occasions that is planned out to the finest detail, from the flavor of icing on the cake to number of flower petals in each bridesmaid’s hair. Okay, some folks plan a little too many details, but regardless, weddings are typically one of the most highly coordinated events in human nature.
Thus, it would come to no surprise that the Age of Information has prompted brides & grooms to hop online to plan what could be the biggest day of their entire lives. Particularly in the United States, where individualism & independence run strong, calling on a wedding planner or an agency to take care of all the details has fallen on the wayside. Thanks to the web, planning a wedding doesn’t have to be an outsourced job anymore.
These days, the wealth of information available on the Internet has brides-to-be eagerly surfing for their wedding planning needs. Every vendor is out there trying to reach out to potential customers, but with the resources so vast, it can be really difficult to find the ideal wedding vendor for your needs.
That’s where Strictly Weddings, a new site for Dallas weddings, takes a different approach to online wedding planning, by simplifying the search. At Strictly Weddings they use a long list of specific criteria and tap into local wedding experts to pick the top three vendors for each of the 21 categories on the site. The end result is an easier site to navigate and pick vendors, a vast difference from competitors like TheKnot.com & MyWedding.com, which feature hundreds of vendors all dying for your attention. Strictly Weddings will soon open in Chicago, New York and LA, bringing its unique approach to a national scale.
Being that approximately $75 billion dollars are spent on weddings alone each year in the States, this is an industry that is certainly alive and well. Plus, with the 21st century’s total embrace with social marketing, sharing ideas and advice has never been easier. Wedding planning is no exception, and sites like Strictly Weddings show through their blog and “ask us” section that the online discussion between brides is a highly valued resource for coordinating a wedding. After all, the best way to plan an event as important as a wedding is to learn from other’s mistakes, and hope for the best.
